The work “34+” pays tribute to the 34 people who died during the Chilean social outbreak of October 2019 that continues to this day. The play is an experience to reflect on life and death, in the fight for justice. Placing us physically in the main meeting point of social manifestation through the figure of the Monument of Baquedano. From there we do our revenge, we return each of these 34 current heroes to this “battlefield” through “Monuments of light”. Connecting the earth and the sky, in a unity that dissolves the previous monument to generate there a portal of liberation and hope. Gustavo Gatica, a symbol of the social movement who lost his sight completely during a manifestation, recites a poem written by Octavio Gana along with Yadak’s original music.
